Alvin "King Pen" Jones, the self-proclaimed "King Pen of the Inkpen" is the leading author, visionary, and CEO behind the next big thing in the literary world, "Bad Newz Publishing, LLC". Raised in the gritty streets of Newport News, VA, aka Bad Newz, this King surely has a story to tell.

Growing up exposed to the "Game" and the many notorious Street Players heavily immersed in it, he inevitably became a product of his environment at a very young age, hustling hard by "any means" just to make ends meet. But as the old saying goes, "The horse that pisses fast doesn't piss long". So the fast life eventually caught up with him, landing him in the Virginia State Prison system for a 20-year stretch after being convicted of aggravated malicious wounding with the use of a firearm.

With 20 years staring him directly in the face and all his appeals and post-trial remedies exhausted this young King choose to use his time away wisely.
Focusing on education and self-refinement, he took every class and read every book afforded to him. Over his many years of incarceration he eventually encountered what he viewed to be his life's calling; composing the most vivid tales known to mankind in an attempt to provide the world with what the game's been missing, authenticity.

Now 20 years later and finally released from prison with over 20 titles under his belt and ready for publishing, this true "King Pen of the Inkpen" is prepared to take the literary world by storm. His most recent releases, "Connected" (Urban Street Literature) and "Secrets of the Flesh, Vol. 1" (Erotica) are just the tip of the iceberg.
